Homecoming game for Mercer/Chequamegon/Butternut vs. South Shore. 2 minutes to go in the first quarter. We’re up 12-0. Interception by Dylan in the second quarter. Score update: 26-0. Dylan with a 3-yard touchdown run! 42-0 at half. 50-6 at end of 3rd quarter! A decisive win for Mercer/Chequamegon/Butternut! 50-6 Well done Dylan and Luis!

The Kindergarten class, along with our friend Karen Watts, have a basket to raffle. Each raffle ticket is $1, or 6 for $5. Tickets are available at Morning Announcements for staff and students at or near the Kindergarten Breakfast table. Community members can get raffle tickets through the school office. The winning raffle ticket holder will be announced at the end of the Talent Show on October 23. Need not be present to win. Basket includes: a large, smokey-glass skeleton, two candle holders with jeweled spiders, two jars of jam dressed as jack-o-lanterns (1 raspberry and 1 peach), two bags of Halloween candy, and a cute Halloween sign.
