Mercer Education Foundation

The Mercer Education Foundation was founded in 2006 by a group of dedicated Mercer residents who wanted to help the Mercer School by providing extra funds to enhance educational opportunities for its students. Since its inception, the foundation has raised tens of thousands of dollars through fundraisers such as Taste of the Northwoods, in May.  Money is also received through donations and bequests from alumni and friends of the Mercer School. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, so all the donations are tax deductible. The funds are then used to provide educational grants for the staff, cultural field-trips, and scholarships for graduating seniors. Since 2010 we have funded $45,500 in scholarships and funded $71, 632.72 in teacher grants.

The mission of the Mercer Education Foundation is to enhance the quality of education in our community by providing additional resources to the Mercer Public School and its students through tax-deductible donations, gifts and bequests.
