Mercer School Gets a Visit from the Lieutenant Governor
On Tuesday, December 12, Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez visited Mercer School to learn about the challenges and benefits of our small rural school.
During her visit, Lt. Gov. Rodriguez was given a tour of the building, spending time exploring the elementary wing and seeing all the wonderful things going on in the classrooms.
She also got a chance to see the facilities that help make Mercer School the special place that it is. That's especially true of the newly retooled Tech Ed room and the welding opportunities.
Finally, Lt Gov Rodriguez sat down with a panel of high school students to answer questions about their experiences in Mercer and their hopes and dreams for the future.
Mercer School sends many thanks to Lt Gov Rodriguez for visiting our small school and wishes her a Happy Holidays!
