Mercer's Art and Science Clubs Went to Chicago
From April 10-12, Mercer students in the Art and Science Clubs embarked on a whirlwind tour of Chicago's museums and sights. 16 students took the opportunity to escape Mercer and expand their art and history horizons with visits to The Art Institute of Chicago, the Shedd Aquarium, and The Museum of Science and Industry.
The group also visited Chicago's Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, the Signature Room atop the John Hancock Building (96 stories up!), Grant Park and the famous Cloud Gate sculpture.
They ate Chicago dogs at the notorious Wiener's Circle, deep dish pizza at Gino's East, where they left their mark on the walls, street tacos outside the museum campus, as well as some pretty delectable sweets!
